Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of ChairBook, a booking and customer-management service for salons operated by ChairBook Technologies Pvt. Ltd.(“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

ChairBook provides appointment booking, a customer directory (CRM), business insights, GST invoicing, and WhatsApp messaging tools for independent salons. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or older and provide accurate details. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. You are responsible for the data you enter about your own customers, including having a lawful basis to store it and to message them.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not use the service for unlawful, misleading, or abusive purposes.
• Do not send spam or messages to people who have not opted in. WhatsApp messaging is also subject to Meta’s policies and your recipients’ consent.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed in advance through Razorpay on a recurring basis and renew automatically at the end of each cycle until cancelled. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period and is not renewed after that; we do not provide partial refunds for the remaining period. WhatsApp messaging credits are prepaid top-ups consumed as messages are sent. See our Cancellation & Refunds policy for details.

5. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may suspend access for maintenance, or to protect the service or its users.

6. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

7. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends; data handling is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
